What can I do with this website?

1001 Wishlists helps you to remember stuff you want for your birthday, your wedding or any event where people receive gifts. You can create as many wishlists as you want. The lists are private by default, you can share them with your family and friends.

A friend of mine took an item on my list, but I can still see it. Is it a bug?

No, it's totally normal. Your family and friends cannot see the picked item anymore to avoid that it's picked a second time, but also to preserve some surprise effect. That's also the reason why you don't see items disappearing on your own Wishlists.
